(#1 Class 6A Trojans hold off the unranked Class 7A Blue Devils to improve to 5-1 on the 2020 season.)

Bainbridge 21, Cairo 0

(Bearcats shut out the Syrupmakers to start Region 1-4A play at 1-0, while Cairo remains winless at 0-4, 0-1.)

Westover 14, Dougherty 8

(The Patriots outlast the Trojans from Albany to also open Region 1-4A play at 1-0.)

(Hornets from Adel outlast the Rams in the Region 1-2A opener for both teams. Cook now 4-2 overall, 1-0 in Region 1-2A with the win, while Worth County falls to 3-3 overall, 0-1 in Region 1-2A with the loss.)

(#8 Bulldogs pull off the upset over the #5 Bobcats. Thomasville now 3-3 overall, 1-0 in Region 1-2A with the win, while Early County 3-1, 0-1 in Region 1-2A with the loss.)

(Coming off a big win over former Class 5A #1 Warner Robins, the Trojans from Leesburg will look to avoid a letdown against the Blue Devils, who are coming off of their first win of the season with a 47-0 rout over the Worth County Rams.)

Westside (Fla.) at Valdosta (1-3, #3 Class 6A)

Cairo (0-3) at Bainbridge (1-3)

(Bearcats play host to the Syrupmakers in the Region 1-4A opener for both teams.)

(The #4 Class 7A Vikings look to remain undefeated against the #1 Class 6A Wildcats in the Winnersville Classic.)

(Blue Devils crush the Class 2A Rams for their first win of the season. Tift County now 1-2 overall with the win, while Worth County falls to 3-2 overall with the loss, snapping a three-game winning streak.)
